What can I say?
My most humble of thanks goes out to everyone that attended MyloCon ’15 this past weekend. Whether you got there for the, lunch, movie, dinner, bowling, came from out of town or locally your presence was very, very appreciated!!
Without further ado, here’s some shots of the day. Thanks to Jen and my wife Kristen, I’m terrible at taking pictures (both in remembering to take them and typically how I end up looking in them) because they get credit for documenting what you’re about to see below.
Pittsurgh: Ground Zero for Mylocon ’15
A phrase comes to mind… if you don’t start something in the morning you can’t do it all day
Many experienced a Primanti sandwhich for the first time, a Pittsburgh staple, fries, slaw and so much more
Yoda squeezing in a quick drink before the movie started, really glad he could make it
Steve is either the best pinball player the world has ever seen, or Congo pinball is really generous with giving out free balls
This is a shot of a friend that was at the event, but elusively evaded pictures, since I have an old one of him playing the same pinball machine, I thought it was appropriate
Nerds love pizza… not to make such a blanketed statement or anything
My brother in law, Greg from the Console Heroes podcast is always good to provide weird new IPA to try, if I could boil this man down to one word: Generous
We ran into this awesome display, though all decided it was not historically accurate
The seedy, neighborhood bowling alley, free beer, the only problem was the lane kept getting stuck which was a bummer, did I mention the beer is free?
Steve and Jen were hustling someone I guess, Wynd was not impressed
Bryan and his better half, Sarah
Big thanks to these two for taking chances with me all the time
It’s the Stone Haven guild!!
It’s not comprehensive, but it is the closest thing we got to a group photo all day
If you like any of the shows we do and want to thank someone, thank my wife Kristen, I will right now… Thanks for your support and putting up with all of my weird ideas, I assure you this whole thing would crumble without you
You can’t a party without an after party
Getting to show my house to Steve and Jen was a highlight, one of those connections you don’t always get to make
That’s about it, and again… thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! I really can’t put it into words. It was only a day after the event that more people were already telling me they’re all in for MyloCon ’16! MyloCon ’16??? Oh man, I’m tired just thinking about it, let’s all take a reaaaaal long nap, then we’ll talk about it!
Catch you guys and ladies next time!
